All in one: Premium Counter straight out of the case - Expolinc upgrades display systems with smart new features

Expolinc upgrades display systems with smart new features

Bückeburg, 11 May 2010 - Neschen partner Expolinc, a Swedish-based manufacturer of display systems, has just launched a new Premium case for pop-ups. Equipped with stable wheels, it firstly permits easy transportation; then, once at the desired location, it is quickly and easily converted into a stylish, inviting presentation counter. It is assembled in a few quick movements, with its rounded corners creating an inviting meeting point.

When in use as a counter, the removable shelves can be used to hold brochures, catalogues and flyers. The front of the counter can also be visually enhanced with an appropriate advertising banner. Once your presentation is over, all the elements can be safely stowed in the spacious case (capacity: 196 litres) including the folding counter top. The case is then the ideal means for transporting the pop-ups and accessories.

Expolinc adds colour

If you really want to add colour to your presentations, you'll find that Expolinc now offers more than just bare aluminium. With immediate effect the range includes round, coloured end caps and front rails. These are available in four different options and turn the silver-coloured metal base into a smart design element, colour-coded with the banner, without visible screws.

Clips instead of screws

Expolinc has also come up with something special for its Roll-Ups and 4-Screen Classics. In the past screws were used to attach the banner's keder strip in the upper or low aluminium profile section. Expolinc has now replaced these with spring-loaded plastic wedges. This means that the profile sections used are no longer screwed but simply clipped.

The outcome of this new standard profile section design is that no tools (screwdriver) are needed any longer. A further benefit is that clipping requires less work than screwing. If users wish to fit a new banner, all they need are their thumbs. The plastic parts can also be removed just as easily; the keder strip can then be simply withdrawn.

Neschen is the exclusive distributor for Expolinc display systems in Germany. The Bückeburg-based film and coating specialist regards this as the ideal combination of digital print media (from Neschen) and display systems (Expolinc).

"Expolinc's display products are well thought-out, very high-quality and extremely well finished," declares Friedrich Drinkuth, Senior Product Manager Display Systems at Neschen in Bückeburg, in praise of the Swedish manufacturer. "As the digital print media expert we then supply the appropriate banner. That explains why our successful partnership has endured for so many years."

Neschen AG is exhibiting in the period 22-26 June at Fespa 2010 in Munich: Hall B2, Stand 260. The Bückeburg-based coating specialist will be showing its wide range of products, including its display systems. The manufacturer is particularly renowned for its inkjet media for large-format printing.

Interview with Friedrich Drinkuth, Senior Product Manager Display Systems at Neschen, on the excusive partnership with Expolinc

Question: Neschen is the exclusive distributor in Germany for the display systems of Swedish manufacturer Expolinc. Why did you choose this company in particular?

Friedrich Drinkuth: To be honest, I know of scarcely any other company whose display products are so visually appealing and yet extremely stable. Then factor in the carefully thought-out design, good quality and outstanding finishing - and all that at affordable prices.

Question: The systems come from Expolinc, and the printed banner media from Neschen. So you think the collaboration of professionals in their respective fields is the ideal combination?

Friedrich Drinkuth: Exactly. However, it's not just about quality and design. Another very important factor in this cooperation is the close, supportive collaboration which has developed between the two companies over the course of more than 20 years.

Question: How is this particularly illustrated? Can you give us some examples?

Friedrich Drinkuth: We exchange views and ideas regularly, meetings are held on a rotational basis, many display systems are designed precisely to our specifications or are modified to meet our requirements. For instance, Expolinc may develop new magnetic brackets or  articulated rails.

Question: The optimum system for every presentational purpose and application. How is that guaranteed?

Friedrich Drinkuth: As already said, the high-quality hardware comes from Expolinc in the form of roll-ups, pop-ups or the L-Banner system. We then provide the appropriate application in the form of print media which have been specially developed for the particular printing method. This selection ensures that users receive the system package best suited functionally to their individual requirements. To that end Neschen has even drawn up its own display guide to provide speedy advice to print companies which can be called up at www.neschen.de.
